Biography

First musical stage experiences with five in the soprano of the village choir of my birthplace Wallerstein in Bavaria.
Piano lessons with eight, guitar with thirteen, bass with fifteen.
Different bands during school time and education.
Moving to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Entry as bassist of “Rockets”, a semi-professional pop / rock band.
1972 Moved to Munich
Member of the Munich pop and party band “The Showstars”. First jam sessions at Tabarin, Birdland, Song Parnass, Podium, Club-Thomas, Jazzstube, Allotria etc.
Various funk, fusion and soul formations. Permanent member of the free club scene in Munich.
Entry into “Ruby & the mudflaps”. The funk & soul band; was in the mid 70s legendary “Durchlauferhitzer” for many musicians and singers (including Donna Summer and Jennifer Rush) in Munich and at that time house band in the jazz club “Domicile”.
1975/76 First assignments as bassist in the Munich Tonstudios.
Bassist of “Key of Joy”. Ambitious (and still good) band project.
Two tours with Margot Werner and Abi Ofarim through D / A / CH.
Increasing orders as a studio musician in many studios in Germany, as well as in Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Holland, Spain, Luxembourg and Czechoslovakia (1978!).
From 1980 only sporadically live performances.
Jobs as songwriter, producer and arranger / programmer. Establishment of a pre-production studio. Sponsor of the “Democracy Live” award of the German Bundestag in 1997, with partner Michael Goltz for the CD “Kayow├¬-Farblichtmusik”.
Guest lecturer and workshops in music schools in Germany and Austria.
2002 Foundation of the “ISOLA Music Publishing”.
